Buyers looking for a full-size SUV that can seat eight passengers in three spacious rows will want to take a look at the all-new 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. When you purchase the Wagoneer at a dealership like the Hollister Jeep dealership, you’ll get a luxurious body-on-frame SUV with a tough ladder frame with an independent rear suspension. Available captain’s chairs for the second row reduce seating capacity to seven.
We’ll take a look at the 2022 Jeep Wagoner’s trim levels to see what each one offers buyers.
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer is offered in three trim levels: Series I, Series II and Series III. There’s a separate model called the Grand Wagoneer that’s not covered in this article. All models are powered by a 5.7-inch V8 that uses a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to put out 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. This block sends power to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and there are three optional all-wheel-drive systems to choose from. According to the Hollister Jeep dealer, towing capacity maxes out at 10,000 pounds.
EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated at up to 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway.*
The base Jeep Wagoneer Series I trim has late availability. At the time of this writing, we don’t have all the specs for this trim. Expect standard features that include leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, and tri-zone automatic climate control.
The standard infotainment system includes the Uconnect 5 interface with a 10.1-inch display and a 10.3-inch digital gauge display. An optional 10.3-inch screen for the front passengers provides access to the audio system, navigation, and other entertainment features. Also standard are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Amazon FireTV and Alexa.
Standard driver assistance features include automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and lane-departure warning.
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series II comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, a limited-slip rear differential, LED headlights, keyless entry and push-button start, remote start, heated and cooled power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, a hands-free power liftgate, a Class IV tow hitch, a nine-speaker stereo, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight USB ports, wireless device charging, parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a rear seat alert.
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series III includes a load-leveling rear suspension, automatic high-beam headlights, a heated second-row bench seat, and a head-up display. The available Premium package adds power-operated running boards and a 19-speaker premium audio system developed with audio equipment manufacturer McIntosh.
